Basic Skills

The human body is designed to be capable of a plethora of movements and capacities at all times. Includes running, crawling, sitting, breathing, hanging, jumping, throwing, vaulting, carrying, falling, pivoting and striking.

 

Martial Sampler

Exposure to striking, grappling and internal martial arts. Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Sun Style Taijiquan are the foundations. A broad diversification of techniques and philosophies are imparted and adapted to your individual body and style.

 

Movement Sampler

Reflex/Coordination

Very dynamic, reflex building, vision and balance training protocols and tasks. Challenges the brain and body without much strain.

 

Swinging

Swinging methods allow for developing and training movement patterns in the manner we are designed to most frequently use. The elasticity and stored energy principles are how we move fast, fluidly and without strain. We also build significant lateral movement capacity and general core stability-2 primary culprits of back injuries in the modern day.


Barbell Work

The quickest way to general strength. Learn the basics of barbell and dumbbell work: in depth form on the Squat, Bench Press, Overhead Press, Horizontal and Vertical Rowing and Deadlifting.

 

Movement Flow

You’ve learned the rules, now it’s time to learn how and when to break them. Learn about your joints, how to heal them and build resilience. Low ground and floor movements, inversions, hand balancing elements, softness, conditioning. Build your capacity through movement rather than exercise. Applicable to all levels.
